Shopping at Funcoland by blienk 1) You own the place 2) Tell them how it is 3) Don't take any crap 4) Try to make a deal 1) You own the place When you walk into Funcoland you must remember that you are a customer and it is their job to please you. First ask to be let behind the counter. If they tell you no, then demand it. If they still tell you no, ask to see the manager. It is best to raise your voice and draw attention to this injustice. If you won't take no for an answer then you are gonna get what you want. 2) Tell them how it is If you want something they don't have a price for then they better get one. This happens frequently with rare NES games. Offer a dollar or two. If they try to say they can't sell it to you, then once again demand to see the manager. Managers always cave in. 3) Don't take any crap We all know that after picking out what you want to buy at Funco, you are subject to a five minute sales pitch on the holy cleaner. It is best to just inform them as they ring up your games, "I don't want a cleaner." If they still try to push it on you try some profanity. 4) Try to make a deal This goes for peripherals mainly. If you can convince them a peripheral is meant for something else much lamer, ussualy you can get it for cheaper. This is kinda rare though. - blienk
